About

Hands that listen.

Behind Wellness Rituals there is one pair of hands: Julie's. Here is where they come from.

The story

It started at six years old.

Julie gave her first massages at six, on her mother's back after long days of work. "You have hands," her mother would say. Neither of them imagined it would one day become a profession.

At twenty-three she moved to Scotland, trained in Swedish massage and opened her own institute, alone, in a country where everything was new. That training changed the course of her life: what began as a requirement became a passion.

Years of further study followed, learning technique after technique alongside experienced practitioners. Today Julie practises at Monaco's most prestigious wellness addresses and aboard private yachts, for a clientele that expects excellence and finds it.

What drives her has never changed: watching someone arrive tense, tired or preoccupied, and leave lighter, smiling, "on a cloud".

In her words
“I believe every body tells a different story. Every ritual begins by listening.”

Approach

Calm the nervous system, and the body follows.

For Julie, a massage is far more than technique. It starts with the breath. Whatever the discipline, the goal is the same: bring you to a place where you feel safe enough to let go. Only then can the body truly release its tension and find its balance again. That is why no two of her massages are ever identical: each body has its own history, its own knots, its own needs.

Training

Six certifications, one craft.

  • Swedish massage
  • Sports massage
  • Lymphatic drainage
  • Cupping therapy
  • Maderotherapy
  • Kobido

And the craft keeps growing: energy work and ayurvedic massage are next on Julie's path.
